WInter - Dot your "I's" and "DOUBLE CROSS YOUR T'S"

One of the biggest mistakes we make is selecting a company for snow removal and then forgetting all about it till we get that one call.  That one call that we all don't want to get.  At Exterior Decorators, we take advantage of time, because time is our friend and we put together a check list for all our in house employees as well as hired out "partners."

Make sure they are following the weather patterns, make sure there equipment has been fine tuned for the new season.  This is very important because equipment gets older as years go on and parts take longer to get.  Make sure all there materials are stored some where dry and that they do have them in case of that early storm.  Make sure they have property site plans as well as Snow response maps.  Ask them to mark the areas on your sites that are dangerous or costly to fix, especially take note of handicap parking areas ( hand shovel these).  Make sure they have sent in there w-9's and insurance forms.

Storm on it's way

There is a strong chance of a cold front in two weeks.  Following the cold front we have the potential to see freezing rain on November 19th and our first snow accumulation on Thanksgiving Weekend.  Stay tuned as more updates come as the time line closes in on us.
